So much has happened since my last post. Justin and Jennifer bought a house in Manor in May. Melissa and Jackson moved in with us on Walleye Way in July. We went to Tennessee for the 4th of July. I became a member of the DAR in August- joining a group in Georgetown. We bought a house in Georgetown in September- Melissa and Jackson are living with us. Went to Tennessee for Thanksgiving and hosted my family for the first time at our house. We stayed in Texas for Christmas and celebrated the season in our new home. And at the end of the year, 30 December, Holly joined the family.
Holly is a rescue Boxer that Justin's sergeant found out near his house in the country. Decided they couldn't keep it, so he sent out an email asking if anyone wanted her. Another officer at the jail wanted it and actually took it home, but figured out that a rescue dog wasn't what he needed on top of a German Shepherd with 6 puppies and the three kids he had at home! So we got her this morning. She is such a sweetheart! I haven't heard a peep out of her since we got her home, but she sure does love coming up and getting some loving from me!
The New Year looks bright and full of love. Can't wait to see what the year will bring us!
